This book is a report from the recovery of a Portuguese shipwreck found on the east coast of Malaysia. It sank in a battle with a Dutch warship in c. 1622. The cargo consists mostly of blue and white Wanli type porcelain, but also of early Transition ware. The recovered material has been thoroughly examined, classified and documented in different types. The book is richly illustrated in good colours.
